June 12-14, 2019. The 6th annual regional forum CAMCA-2019 (Central Asia, Mongolia, Caucasus and Afghanistan) took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The event was attended by over 300 delegates from 20 countries, including the leadership of the Graduate School of Governance and Economics, Akhmet Yassawi University.

The forum was held under the motto “CAMCA: Shared Interests, Shared Aspirations” with thematic sessions on various discussion topics such as interregional trade, transport and transit, regional business and investment, economic development, entrepreneurship and innovation, human capital and education.

Among the keynote speakers were: Mr. Ruslanbek Davletov, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan; famous scientist Dr. Arthur Laffer, Founder and Chairman, Laffer Associates; Mr. George Kvirikashvili, EBRD International Advisor and former Prime Minister of Georgia; Ms. Aziza Umarova , public figure, Executive Director of SmartGov Consulting and others.

The leading management of the Graduate School actively participated in various debates, discussed possible ways of collaboration and partnership development with key representatives of business and education spheres from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan etc.

Forum’s organizers were the regional cooperation CAMCA network, the Institute of Central Asia and the Caucasus and the Rumsfeld Foundation, Washington DC, USA.
