POSITION OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL OF THE GRADUATE SCHOOL OF GOVERNANCE AND ECONOMY

International Kazak – Turkey university named after Yasavi is the first international university in Kazakhstan, where about 9 thousand students are studying, including representatives of 16 Turkic-speaking countries in 54 bachelor’s specialties, 33 master’s specialties, 11 doctoral specialties. Training is conducted in Kazakh, Turkish, Russian and English.

In August this year, the Graduate School of Governance and Economics (hereinafter referred to as the School) was opened on the basis of MKTU. The main goal of the School is the formation of a modern educational system through the internationalization of curricula and partnerships with leading world educational institutions, public, private and non-governmental sectors.

The relevance in providing highly qualified personnel for the new formation has increased in connection with the decision of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the formation of a new Turkestan region.

STRATEGIC GOALS OF GRADUATE SCHOOL

GOALS OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL AND APPROACH TO DEVELOPMENT

In order to advise on the strategic and planning issues of the Graduate School, an advisory council is convened, but at least once a year. The Advisory Board is an advisory body. The President of the University independently appoints the chairman of the Advisory Council and, together with the chairman, determines the composition and number of members of the council. The Advisory Council may include representatives of countries near and far abroad.

The position and work plan of the Advisory Board is approved by the President of the University and the Chairman of the Council. The activities of the council are carried out free of charge. The purpose of the advisory council is to provide systematic expert support and strategic recommendations for the future development of the Graduate School.

TASKS OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL

  • Formation of a strategy and promising directions for the development of the Graduate School. Development of the academic and research potential of the Graduate School.
  • Development, improvement and expansion of the range of educational programs for higher, postgraduate and additional professional education, including the opening of new specialties in accordance with modern and world trends.
  • The introduction of modern, innovative educational technologies, as well as international best practices.
  • Invitation of Western experts (development of a pool of experts), establishment of the School’s partnership with government agencies, leading consulting companies, private and international organizations.
